Quality & standards

How we prove it, and where our paperwork stops

European buyers do not accept a part. They accept a part with its file. A missing weld inspection report or a missing mill certificate stops a delivery no matter how good the machining is. This page sets out what we certify, what we document per order, and — equally important — which approvals we do not hold.

Certification

What we hold

Quality managementISO 9001:2015 — certified
ESG ratingGrade A — Synesgy / CRIF
Manufacturing since2006, to ISO, DIN and ASME drawings
Export experienceLong-term supply to the Netherlands and the wider EU

The ESG rating matters more each year. European industrial buyers increasingly have to report on their own supply chain, and a supplier who cannot produce an ESG position becomes an administrative problem for them regardless of price.

Documentation

What ships with the goods

This is our default package, not an extra you have to negotiate.

  • Mill test certificate (MTC)Per heat lot, traceable to the material actually used in your parts
  • Weld inspection reportVT visual · UT ultrasonic · MT magnetic particle, to the ISO 5817 level agreed for your order
  • Dimensional inspection reportMeasured against your drawing, per batch
  • Welder qualification recordsISO 9606-1 certificates for the welders on your job
  • Surface treatment recordBlasting grade, coating system and thickness
If your quality department needs the file in a particular format, or needs a specific inspection added, tell us before we quote. Building it into the process costs very little. Adding it after the parts are made usually means making them again.
Inspection

How a part is checked before it leaves

Incoming materialMTC verified against the order before cutting starts
In processFirst-article check, then batch sampling against the drawing
WeldsVT on every weld · UT and MT on load-bearing welds
Lifting equipmentLoad tested in our factory before despatch
Stainless after weldingPickling and passivation, then surface check
FinalDimensional report compiled and issued with the goods

Load testing in our own factory is a deliberate choice. Finding a fault while the equipment is still on our floor costs a day. Finding the same fault after it has been installed on your site costs a great deal more, and it costs it to you.

Limits

Approvals we do not hold

We would rather lose an enquiry at this paragraph than lose it after you have committed a schedule to us.

  • No classification society approvalWe hold no DNV, ABS or Lloyd’s Register approval. We manufacture marine components to your drawings and specification. If your project requires class-approved fabrication, the scope and the route must be agreed before we quote
  • PED 2014/68/EU — scope to be agreedFor pressure equipment entering the EU, we discuss the conformity assessment route and who holds which responsibility before quoting
  • No CE marking on complete lifting machinery yetWe manufacture to EN 1570-1 as a reference standard and supply components and assemblies; CE marking of a complete machine placed on the EU market is a separate question we handle case by case
  • EN 1090 execution class — not certifiedFor load-bearing steel structures placed on the EU market this matters. Ask us and we will tell you plainly where a given project stands
A supplier whose answer to every certification question is yes has either not read the question or is planning to find out later, at your expense. Ours is a short honest list, and everything outside it we can evidence.
Confidentiality

Your drawings

Drawings you send are used to prepare your quotation and to manufacture your parts. They are not shared with any third party, they are not used as examples, and they do not appear in our marketing. We sign an NDA before you send anything if you prefer — just ask.

This is backed internally: business confidentiality, including customer drawings, pricing and process data, is written into our staff rules, not left to goodwill.

Send a drawing

We return a quotation within 24 working hours. We accept PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP and IGES.

Tell us in the same message what documentation your quality department needs, and it will be priced in from the start.
